  Schools and Government
Our children, health and future.
Children are our future. To make sure that they make the best out of that future, it is of great importance that they are drawn into the right direction, in school for example.

We often forget, but it is vital that our children learn that water hydrates the body like nothing else. There are a lot of competitors on the market, not in the least the soft drink, nevertheless it is crystal clear that the human body needs WATER. A sound mind in a sound body!

Schools make a lot of effort. But do these free water fountains; water taps etc. do the trick? And what about the quality of the water? All experts unanimously agree: children do not drink enough water. Bacterial contamination has to be prevented at all cost and the dry residue has to be controlled.

Nowadays, almost everybody knows that we should drink at least 1,5 liter of water a day, but what if the dry residue is too high? It could even cause more damage to drink then not to!

Sip-Well offers you water with an incredibly low dry residue and a structured permanent and total 'hygienic approach'. This is controlled by 4 different authorities, including the federal agency for food safety.

For schools, Sip-Well offers water coolers that are connected onto the water grid, or filled with bottle water. Students can refill their own bottle at the Sip-Cooler. There is a whole range of possibilities: cold water, room temperature, still or sparkling water.

The only thing the school has to do? Put the plug in.
Sip-Well, with its vast network and over 80 experienced, trained and certificated technicians will take care of:
  • Connection to the water grid and placement of water coolers
  • Impeccable maintenance on a regular basis
  • Analysis of your tap water
  • Refillable bottles for every student and teacher (personal bottle, named, refillable, dishwashing machine-proof and recyclable, which contributes to the acknowledgment of 'Green School')
Sip-well is the preferred partner of water coolers for public bodies on all governmental levels. (National, Regional, Local)

You can find the Sip-Well water coolers in numerous public buildings. This is only logical; even though our sip-coolers were at first designed for schools and cooperatives, other groups also support the health idea at maximum length. You must admit, a solution working with bottles as well as tap water, who can say no to that?

Sip-Well meets the financial economic and technical minimum demands stated in the common statements. Its offers have always been declared regular (because they satisfy the requirements, do not contain restrictions and meet the technical demands). We do not only keep the offered prices into account, but also calculate other data that could have an impact on costs (e.g. low use of energy, included maintenance costs, .) Furthermore we study the technical demands of the planned service and delivery so they can be perfectly controlled and displayed in the offer. This is how every time, we can give you the best possible offer.

* dry residue : According to different clynical studies, water that contains a too high mineral balance (>1500 mg/l dry residue) is less fit to be used daily and unlimited by everyone.

Water is the sole indispensible beverage
We daily need about 2,5 liters of water, 1,5 liter of which is taken in - mainly drinking water - the rest we find in nutrition and our own metabolism. Water is the most important food: we only drink an average of 1,07 liter. 5 out of 10 Belgians drink a liter per day, 2 out of 10 drink more than a liter. This means that 7 out of 10 Belgians do not drink enough water, even though the impact on our health, wellbeing, body weight etc. has been proven again and again. (see Health and Ergonomics) On the one hand, people nowadays are conscious and aware of what they eat. On the other hand, the indifference we choose our drinking water with, is striking. Nicolas Guggenbühl, dietician and nutritional expert thinks this may have something to do with the tremendous amount of false assumptions around water. Those 'false assumptions' are laid bare in the investigation: 6 out of 10 Belgians think that all bottled waters are evenly pure. 69% wrongly believes that all bottled waters can be unlimitedly used. Nicolas Guggenbühl continues: "Drinking water is so obvious that we ask little - maybe too little- questions.

Not all bottled waters are the same. They are different in pureness and in composition. Who knows this and keeps it into account, can make a conscious and healthy choice."
